QUEEN - A KIND OF MAGIC LP (ORIGINAL UK WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING - A-1U/B-1U UNUSED MATRIX - OWNED BY JOHN DEACON). Another unique opportunity for Queen collectors with this original UK white label test pressing of the classic 1986 album It's A Kind Of Magic. This copy was originally owned by John Deacon, who, before the official release of the album, entrusted the records to his mother, Mollie, and his sister, Julie (the vendor's wife) so they could listen to the album before its final release. This copy is the very first mix of the album with A-1U/B-1U matrix endings (the final commercial release using A-2U/B-2U). Released as 2 x single sided LPs with blank white labels. Record 1 is in super Ex+ condition showing only a couple of extremely minor and faint paper marks. Matrix/runout: EU 3509 A-1U-1-1-1 TOWNHOUSE DMM with LPFB 12 machine stamped to the non-playing side. Record 2 is in similar, lovely Ex+ condition displaying only a couple of extremely minor, faint and wispy paper marks. Matrix/runout: EU 3509 B-1U-1-1-1 DMM. The records are housed with the original British Patent inner sleeves which are both stamped '24 APR 1986' (the album was commercially released on June 2nd). Both records are housed with signed certificate of authenticity from the vendor.
