A final remarkable opportunity for Queen collectors with this original UK white label test pressing of the iconic 1977 album News Of The World. This copy was originally owned by John Deacon, who, before the official release of the album, entrusted the records to his mother, Mollie, and his sister, Julie (the vendor's wife) so they could listen to the album before its final release. Released as 2 x single sided LPs with handwritten 'Side One' and 'Side Two' to the records by John Deacon himself. Record 1 is in VG+ condition with a few light surface marks towards the end of the side, these are not heavier feelable scratches. Matrix: YAX 5355-1 with LPFB 2 machine stamped to the non-playing side. Record 2 is in Ex condition displaying a couple of very light and minor surface marks.Matrix: YAX 5356-2 with LPFB 2 machine stamped to the non-playing side. The original proof picture sleeve is in VG condition showing some creasing around the edges. Both records are housed with signed certificate of authenticity from the vendor.
